spotlight!

While prevention and intervention are always a priority, when they fall short it is incumbent upon districts to have an effective emergency response. “22 June” was a large-scale Community Emergency Response Exercise that focused on first responders and district leaders. This was the capstone event in a year of systematizing security district wide that had a significantly positive ripple effect across the community. It was an example of effective training that balanced the realism our first responders needed while incorporating trauma informed best practices for the other participants.
